Its Alive

the brumby is alive again it got a exhaust today n ive just been for a quick drive n far out its fast
its got a few teethin issues but i will get it there also needs thermo fans, i wanna put in oil and temp guages engine stay rod and a few other bits n pices
tthe only semi major issue i have is that it surges a bit under load some times but then ffor no reason its all good again n when its good it hammers so im not quite sure wat is causin this yet but i will find out
the exhaust mob reckon its fairly high but i dono i think i must b use to it now
but i have very limited net use atm but i will keep a close eye on the board anyway

ye it now has complete lib suspenion Front includin lower control arms and rear impressa drive shafts lib steering colum n rack lib crossmember RS turbo brakes n big lift blocks in the front and rear

Awesome Tristan, can't wait to see it! The surging might just be a teething problem that will sort itself out once you put a few kms on it. They are always a bit grumpy after waking up from a conversion

btw I still want that lift kit off you!

I had pretty aggresive intermittent surging as well. Turned out to be the plug leads werent pushed on tight enough. They needed a huge amount of force to get them to click on. Also replaced the plugs.

where did you bolt the control arm mounts to??? the ones that bolt up to the body.

tristans brumby is extremely custom:P
all special made brackets and all that crap..too hard to explain...need pictures and talking face to face to explain it:P
ill try convincing him to get some pics on the net of it

I was going to link those but they were before the Liberty engine crossmember was installed so I'm tipping it was changed around again.
