Hey

Got the webber last night but with the new central locking I didn't have time to fit both but I was looking around the carby itsself there seems to be a large amount of hose attatchments I know I could just randomly attach the current hoses till I got it right or be plain boring and ask for advice..

Or do I wait for the next meeting and bribe someone with alchohol and get them to do it umm..I mean help me :) ...SuBaRino..Vidler..Tim_81coupe...

Did Vidler get rid of those panels cuz I was thinkin of swapping the rear window before I get the tinting done..

Tim how are your negotiations progressing..

Cheers Chaps

I'll let you know this weekend mate. You can have a look at my setup, I didn't plumb the vacuum hoses but we could certainly work something out.

OK OK my bad....altho the guy assured me this was the carby I asked for it is not a weber 32/36  ...its something much bigger. the butterfly valves are situated at the bottom of the carby on a seperate plate (black) and with the adaptor on I have only mm's of space under the bonnet.. one of the valves has a 78 on it can't read the other..where should I look for the model type????.. So I'll be back there tomorrow...with a picture in hand..

Keep ya posted..

Im sure the webber had the numbers printed on it some place.... can't remember where though. The hose set up looks harder than it is. Thank your lucky stars you doing have an 84 model engine in there... they have shit hanging off them everywhere. Most of the hoses are simply removed or blocked.

My weber conversion is complete and running fine. I'll post some pictures up asap. And i might be able to help answer some of those pipe questions.
