Track/Circuit days??

are there any plans to do a track/circuit day?? Is it possible for individuals and clubs to book a circuit for a day??

In the UK, circuits like Goodwood, Castle Combe and Donnington would put on occasional track days where by anyone could turn up, with a road legal vehicle (any vehicle!) and have some laps of the circuit - not racing as such but driving how you want as long as you don't get in the way of others (or cause any accidents!)

Wondered if there is anywhere in WA that does this too? I'd love to give my RS a bit of a blast to see what it really handles & drives like, but won't to anything on the roads.

Anyone else interested in going if there are dates available??

various car clubs book out AHG driving days, which is basically a skid pan with circuits marked out, also occasionally some clubs book out track days at barbagello raceway and places like that.

it does happen u just have to look around and find out details. i done a track day at AHG and was well worth it

Some times the boys on http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/cmps_index.php? have track days with varying amounts of sucess. These days are held at the AHG drivers centre that Devil is talking about. Held as "performance driving days" (or something to that affect) you can book out the single/dual skid pan +- long track.

Its not bad, infact i rather enjoy it. Heaps of runoff room and if you get a group of 10-12 people it is quite reasonable price wise.

Steve Pummer is another person to get in touch with from http://www.wrxownersclub.com.au/
They also have many drivers days at various circuits such as barbies, collie AHG etc

As well as the above, this is the site (http://www.wascc.com.au/) that I have been looking at and considering as well.
