Derroes like these?

Been waiting for an opportunity to post that.
Was the one in Rockingham anything special or just a stocko Leone?

It's in Rockingham... of course it had something to do with Derroes or most likely Bogans.

I thinks taking parts off this car may just be illegal? it was a stockie with racing stickers on what was left of the windscreen. It was rolled over the humptys me thinks a quite some speed. You can miss it, its bright yellow and directly opposite the dead centre of town just behind the row of trees.
Hrmn me does need a new engine for my old wagon. Does anyone have one of those?

If it is registered, technically it is 'parked' but if it is 'abandoned' ie, plates and other identifiers have been removed then just contact your council about claiming it. Then you just have to pay a tow truck driver to go get it

heh, that was just a joke about the red car in the photo there, I need a better L series sedan rear bumper.
Regarding "claiming" an abandoned car, this does not work. I've tried it with councils in the past without any luck. Maybe the rules have changed since then (was a few years ago) but I doubt it.

I know Joondalup council tows dumped vehicles to their depot, then auctions them once or twice a year. Other councils are probably similar.
The red leone was at a St Ives ERT training yard in Kambalda. All I managed to scavenge was a front blinker lens, before everyone got stuck in with the hooligan bars.
