Hey guys I'm lookin for a decent gearbox mech to open my Foz box and see what all the shrapnel that came out with my last oil change used to be....
Its still running in both Hi and Lo.... a little noisy in Lo and a bit of a rattle in Lo/neutral idle.... Looked like a spacer or somethin....
I've got a post around here somewhere if you want to give me advice there..... otherwise I'm just after a mech...
Cheers

Looks like that Lancelin trip is going to be one to remember. Bugger.
I live near Myaree so I'll drive through it bro and see if I can spot a gearbox place.

Pics are a bit out of focus but anyone that knows what they are looking at might pick it.... Keep in mind the gearbox still works in both Lo and Hi.... just a bit noisy with a slight rattle in Lo-neautral...

It looks like the trust washer on the Dual Range selector shaft but a bit hard to tell without seeing it first hand.
I can help you out if you need, I build many Subaru boxes for the guys in the rally (Lee McIlroy mostly... He's not too kind on his boxes lol) Send me a PM if you haven't found someone. I'm in Kelmscott if that's not too far for you?

I havnt found anyone in particular yet. I am holding out for a few months and the car will be off the road for a bit anyhoo. But I will certainly hit you up when I am ready. If you have the time then great.
