I have gone back to a turbo wgn and was wondering if a lib d/r box will hold up well behind a stock ej20 turbo on and off road?

Well something has to be said about the fact that Subaru don't produce any turbo car with a dual range gearbox anymore.....but that being said, mine has held up absolutely fine (Outback d/r box behind EJ20G). My first gear does wine abit now, but it's been a few years and my gearbox is very high kms - that's regardless of wether low range is selected anyway. As with anything it depends how you drive and how you treat your gearboxes. I've never damaged a Subaru gearbox in any way myself afaik.

The low range gears hardly ever fail because they are before the gears. Of course when in low range all the other gears have to put up with a little more torque. But because the Lib's have a pretty crappy low range I really doubt it would be a problem. They use the same size and type gears as the WRX boxes. And the centre diff is the same except its preload.
I've seen an L series with a EJ20t with the EA82 5sp locked in RWD doing drifts. The guy said it had held for 6 months with a lot of drifting so he couldn't see why it wouldn't hold up to the power.

I'm starting to think that you can use D/R box behind low end turbo.

The gearbox is off a gen 1 lib and i intend on swapping the low range gears with L series.

One of the guys on the RS fourm has a d/range box in his turbo on road car . I think he busted it last week doing skids.
Toms fitting one to his wrx hatch back with a lsd front diff & a lsd rear diff. I can not see any problems with it , but get the clutch reworked. There worth stuff all now any way and have a very limited market.

Somehow I think any gearbox has the chance to go bust if you do silly stuff behind the wheel

Captain Obvious has had a duel range in his lifted RS Lib for years...
