I was on nightshift last night, set my alarm to get up and bid online. Bleary eyed I sat watching the lots go through salivating at the thought of getting a cheap Brumby. It was Lot 74 and when lot 73 ended my finger was poised over the BID button. But wait, what just happened ? Where did it go ? Why are we suddenly on lot 75 ? NOOOOOOOO !!

Apparently it was withdrawn beofere the auction - so I guess somebody bought it before hand - hopefully for a ridiculously expensive amount. :-(

sometimes it appears again in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out. Be good to know whats the auction price for one of them. nut then i just got my bro a good deal on his licensed brumby from the quokka

Its back guys!!!!! Had a look at pickles and it seem she is back in auction this week. I already got mine but if you guys could find out how much it goes for and let us know. It be interesting to know:)

NOOOOOOO !!!!!!!

It went for $200 - I was furiously hitting my BID button online as soon as it came up, when it finally accepted my bid at $300 and then all of a sudden it said "Bid retracted - too late - bidding already closed". I can only assume it was due to the response time from the server to my PC but far out the system should allow for that.

I am absolutley gutted that it went for such a small amount :(

It looked pretty good in the photos - only damage was a bent bullbar and 2 dents on the tailgate - doesn't even look like it has any rust - I would have thought it would have gone for $2000 or more ??

Oh well there is a damaged Nissan R35 GTR coming up in the same auction - maybe I will get that for $200 :mrgreen:

It really depends who is there on the day. If there are no older-subaru fans to bid against each other then quite often they can go rediculously cheap, or not at all and have to wait for next week to be sold.

Could have easily gotten over 1000 or more if two guys who both knew it's value were there and both keen to buy it.

Somebody snapped up a bargain.

Yes it was referred to highest bidder, which means it was passed in and high bidder has first option to negotiate.

Brumby went for $200 online but I rang them and it was never actually in the auction as it turns out it was withdrawn before it started.

mine was $700, but only one other bidder from about 350 up. also pickles will accept static bids or bid up to. just gotta set it up couple of days before hand.

No - it was supposed to be in last but was withdrawn again. It was not in this week at all. I spoke to Pickles and they said there was an issue with it and I read between the lines and guessed that they are refusing to deal with it :-(

Car never went to auction- it is owned by Swan Autos in Maddington - they are asking $1800 for it if anyone is interested.
