lol good luck getting out of the CBD in weather like this!
It will only take one little rear ender to add an hour to the trip home due to congestion!

I'm stuck at the airport right now. All Qantas flights outbound have been suspended indefinitely as the outside workers had to be brought inside to protect them from the lightning storm. Although apparently it will pass soon.
I might go buy a drink for $59.95.

HAIL? All the nations PDR guys flocked to Melbourne after their hail storm a few weeks back - nine months work there. Perth may have to wait a while for dent repair

Perth got hammered yesterday 95000 homes without power still (we pay all that money on power bills for what?) at least 3 schools destroyed 2 will open one is trashed (happy little m#th heads ) mini floods I wonder how tree guy got on at least he would've got a wash

It reminds me of when I was a child 35 odd years ago when the storms would march in from the north and stay for 4 -5 months then it would be hot and dry for the rest of the year (and there was surf in summer as well)

More storms expected as well

HECTIC night....

driving home from work ive never seen what i saw before. We were forced to pull over as visibilty was about 1m. Looking up into the clouds just before it started to open up i thought there was something wrong with my eyes, just a constant flicker of lightning.

Then my god did it rain. Taking the old mans liberty through water 2ft deep wasnt much fun. Saw about 5 dead cars from people driving thru water and about 10 cars with smashed windscreens. This happened in about a 5min smashing.

Bugger 4wding, just go for a drive on the perth streets today! haha.
