Shit man, that is no good. I've been there done that (see sig)... seeing your pride and joy smashed up, especially from a roll over which looks especially bad, is a terrible feeling. It's affected my driving signicantly, and even situations where adrenaline starts pumping I'm not as resiliant as I was... I got lucky injurey wise 'cause it was low speed - how fast where you travelling? Did you land upright? Others with you? What's the plan with the car, anything salvagable?

My only advice is to go see a good chiro, not a physio or GP. Chiro's specialise in spinal and if you've sustained kneck injury the rest of your spine will be a mess. One of my best mates is an especially good chiro and she adjusted me close to 5 times in the 3 days immediately after my accident and I swear if it hadn't have been for her I couldn't have gone back to work. Breakes/fractures will heal but if you don't look after your back especially well then your quality of life now and especially 5, 10, 20 years time will be severly effected. She did the adjustments but also gave me the right stretches and exercises as a physio would have... Also check out something called Adrenotone, it helps support your adrenal system which will have had a severe flogging from your crash - you'll feel like shit for the next few days and that's not just from bones... A chiro, physio or GP should be able to prescribe it.

Best of luck with the recovery mate!

Sounds like a gnarly crash mate. Glad no one was hurt (well, you know what I mean).

A good friend of mine is a Chiro. PM me if you want her details.

Sorry to hear about you and your Forester,

One of the better looking setups I'd seen.

Cheers Mate.

I have been hearing that alot lately.

The tow truck driver that picked it up thismorning recons that it is def a write-off. recons he has been around for years and know how it works.

i will try and put some pics up asap, just abit hard, still really sore. i have some on facebook. just search me or what ever you do, (Michael Clark), cant really see all the damage in the pics, but yeh.

The car held up really well supprisingly. hence the reason they have a 5 star ancap safty raiting and a 37.5 or 36.5 (one of them) out of 38 in the colision test, and also 16 out of 16 in the side swipe test.

Still miss the subie, i dont know if i will get anotherone for offroad use, maybe one for onroad. see what happens i suppose.

Cheers Mike.

You gotta love that 5-star safety rating... It seems there damage to every single body panel, but still the "cockpit" is absolutely intact!

Good to know you are well after what could have been a lot worse.

Pedro.
