Hey You Subaru nuts as the title says… I am considering having a HUGE Subaru clearing out. At this stage I a not sure if I am really willing to part cars out however I think that reality (and EJ technology) will be telling me that parting out ay be the way to go. So what’s on offer…

The Touring Wagon.
- Professionally converted (by Boxer Service) to EA82T with TMIC. (Engine has been reliable however is not currently running as timing needs to be reset and battery is flat).
- 3.7 dual range RX running gear.
- Basically its an RX wagon – so yes it includes a full RX spec gear including cv’s, radius rods, disc rear brakes, LSD, blar blar blar as well.
- All touring wagon electric’s.
- 2” lift kit (professionally built by Boxer Service and is 100% road/insurance legal in any state/territory).
- 14” Pug with Goodyear TG’s about 90+% tread on all 4 tyres and there are no chips/cutting on any of them.
- A/C and P/S.
- Front end bull bar (replacement type - black).
- Rear bar = SubaExtreme original. Full metal bar replacement with wheel carrier and jerry can holder.
- Touring wagon Rolo roof racks (the taller ones) with roof basket.
- At this stage it also includes a tape/radio head unit with 6 stack cd player with front and rear speakers.
- Milford touring wagon cargo barrier.
- Home made snorkel (however I have spare red panel if you do not like it.
- All interior is in good condition for its age. RX front seats and originals available if preferred.
- This wagon has been used for 4WDing and so the body is starting to look a little tired and could do with some TLC however the car has basically been faultless.
- I am sure there are a few other things I may have missed however the above list would include most of the good stuff.

The RX Build Project.
Basically she’s an L Series Royal running full RX spec gear.
- Low km Jap import EA82T (about 85,000km) with WAIC from an RS. Engine has all new belts and leads and had very little use and is currently not currently running as timing needs to be set, BOV pipe requires completion and no battery.
- Lightened flywheel and new clutch kit (both unused).
- AWD 3.9 gear box and running gear.
- RX fuel tank and fuel lines.
- Body (white) has been fully striped down, cleaned, undercoated and painted with anti rust paint (white).
- EVERTHING that could have been replace has been replaced with ALL NEW parts, all new radiator, heater core and turbo hoses, all Polynothine bushes throughout, factory RX cv and steering rack both in good condition and genuine Subaru boots all round – you get the idea.
- A/C and P/S.
- 15” Superlights with 195/50 Nankang rubber with 90%+ tread.
- Fully adjustable Bilstein shocks in the rear and KYB’s in the front with low km King springs all round.
- Full RX interior (x2) all in excellent condition given their age - including seatbelts.
- Original RX boot lid spoiler.
- Original front lip spoiler.
- All RX mud flaps and spats.
- Has RX dash including RX AWD instrument cluster.
- Front end bull bar (replacement type - chrome).

Just so people know the plan was to restore this car to RX spec and use as a family road car. Given the car was for the family it had to be done properly, with good quality parts as it had to be reliable. Again, I am sure there are a few other things I may have missed however the above list would include most of the good stuff.
In addition to this there is also…
- Spare EA82T – initially we suspected blown head gaskets however they were not there was just fluid/moisture under the injector plugs giving me trouble so the engine is all good.
- 27” Kumho MT’s (1 brand new 4 would be less then 10% tread left).
- 2 front and 2 rear (Red) L series doors all in good condition and rust free.
- 2 front and 2 rear (White) L series doors all in poorer condition as they have been neglected so currently have minor surface rust.
- Full L series interior (Blue) could do with a clean, however in good condition.
- 1 non p/s rack in excellent condition.
- 2 or 3 spare p/s racks.
- A few sets of radius rods and control arms (I think that from memory they are all L series units – the RX units is in the cars above).
- Spare RX dash, loom and interior.
- Spare RX mud flaps and spats.
- Spare front and rear factory plastic bars.
- L Series bonnets (x2) in excellent condition and rust free – 1 red and 1 in primer.
- Aftermarket KnN air filter and spare metal air box.
- Spare AFM – flapper type (x1) and hotwire type (x1).
- 13” rim galore (I think about 8 of em) + the RX space saver.
- Starter motors, Alternators, selectors, p/s units.
- Diffs (3.7 and 3.9 both open).
- Other interior parts.
Once more I am sure there are other things and I have missed stuff as I think that I would have an L series in spare parts as well, so if your looking for something let me know and I might be able to help you out should this go ahead.

For those that require a reason for the mass part out/sell off is that I am seriously considering the need for 2 cars and a motor bike. In addition to this finishing car projects is not a huge priority as when I am at home I do not have the time to spend the weekends in the garage. I considered keeping all the best bits to go into the RX and go motor racing with however I think that its just to is to expensive for me atm (with wife/kids and mortgage payments).

I am not keen to let the project go and the misses has been busting to drive in the RX again however the reality is that I think that its better if it goes to a good home as opposed to sitting collecting dust/rust.

Anyway for those of you that are interested the following links (showthread.php?t=9621) or (http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh110/Diane-Palmer/) contains some pictures of the RX build and some 4WDing shots.

I am not on here often as life is to busy so PM may not be the most ideal way to contact me. If your keen i would try emailing me = [email protected].

Cheers.
