Too nice of a day to be stuck inside

Post by RSR 555 » Fri Oct 29, 2010 9:48 pm

Well today was a little too good to be stuck inside.. after spending the morning running around, Glen and I decided to pull the broken box out of the GC8 rally car. Then we thought that this was enough work for a day like today.. so off to the hills for a little fun

Looks like you had lots of fun, but I think he may need bigger wheels as those ones hardly touch the ground.:p

Sorry Guy.. Like Glen said it was kinda a last minute decision.. You're welcome anytime at the shop and I don't usually need to much convincing/persuasion to get me out 4WDing

it looks a bit like greenmount hill where you are, but you dont live out that way so its out armadaleway somewhere?

in the first pic - i would not of trusted my handbrake alone to hold my car at that angle!

It's near the Gosnells Quarry and we've now been there again today :) Chrus joined us and I'll post a couple of pics tomorrow.

Yeah.. the hill is quiet steep angle but not very high and if it let go you'd just rollup the next hill.. then seesaw to a stop :p

plus a tip for anyone.. always keep the car in 4WD and switch the engine off and leave in first gear.. fairly hard to move even if the HB lets go.
