Was my daughter's 27'th last night and I was offered some free rally tyres which I think will cope a lot better than the 205/ 60/16" street tyres I run at the moment, just gotta find some 15" mags, nice strong sidewalls, soft and grippy & free..........gotta be happy with that.

One more thing, how about we invite the Perth guys from AUSubaru , there are a few of us on both forums but they never seem to have any cruises over here....very very similar forum but more for later cars.

Do you mean Offroadsubarus?

Nice score with the tyres too Tom.

OOPS old age kicking in again....Yes OFFroadsubaru.

Yeah pretty sure the tyres are fairly cheap once they have been used, bigger rally teams end up with heaps and they usually sell them off at really low prices just to get rid of them, useless in sand but brilliant in the tougher stuff.......and last ok when you're not putting 300hp through them constantly. Apparently the sidewalls are super tough too.

It'll have to be Sunday the 5th for me to come. Im driving down on Saturday. Very keen to meet you guys.
How do you think a stock (height wise) Subie would go out at Mundaring? I know most of the stuff it pretty hardcore but would it be possible or should I give it a miss till my lift is in? (goes in in just over a week :D)

I was going to come but had yet to post due to internet problems.. and my Ruby broke down and now I'm driving a stock rwd L wagon which i bet will be useless..

I would do it still but I think It'll be fun at first but will just piss people off fairly soon after that.. always having to push or pull me up the harder stuff.

so the question is.. should I, or shouldn't I???
