Greetings All,

Was just wondering if anybody knows a 'decent' automotive engineer down in my neck of the woods (Bunbury) that I can take my brumby to to get the rails and crossmember inspected and ok'd. As we all know, some are decent blokes and some are total ar$e biscuits. Or is there anybody on this site with all the nessasary qualifications? Thanks for any ideas/thoughts.

Cheers,
Corax.

Unfortunately for you they are all in Perth. Here is the list form the tranpsort dept website : http://www.transport.wa.gov.au/mediaFil ... IB_102.pdf

I would recommend using Dan Pitic from Endracon - have used him myself previously and he was excellent.

I called a few people and spoke to them about what i had done. You can get an idea of there attitude on the phone. I also dropped in to one bloke and he said no to a couple of things that were completely legal but he just didn't like the look of, so i didn't bother with him.

I posted a link to a list of Street Machine recommended engineers around australia, you might be able to do a search and find it.

The link I posted are the ONLY engineers you can use in WA - Transport won't accept anyone else.

Thanks for the info niterida. I see on that list that there's someone in Busso that has the nessasary quals. Might try and find out if it would be worth taking it to him. My money pit (project car) spends a fair amount of time in Capel anyway being worked on so its not far to drag it to Busso to get it checked out. Once again cheers for the info.
