Trailing arm mounts wanted!

It's a four week wait X- Japan for Gen 1 rear trailing arm mounts via Subaru. I hate waiting. Does anybody have a set I can beg, borrow or steal? Failing those options maybe I could just buy them.

I want them to bolt up to an 04 Impreza. I have been told gen 1 mounts fit, but if your gen 2 mounts will work I'd love to grab them off you!

Anybody know if these will fit ??

I had some but they went to the scrap:( What are you planning to achieve with the lib mounts?

Pm Wagonman, he might have some if he kept them.

Sorry didn't specify- I need Outback trailing arm mounts!!!

I want to push my rear wheel back in the guard as much as I can in anticipation of my new tyres (215/ 75 R15). With the current lift height the rear wheel sits a little close to the front of the rear guard, and I believe the Outback trailing arm mounts will assist me in this regard by about 11mm.

I have a 98 Gen2 Outback that I am wrecking, how many parts are you after?

What exactly are the mounts you are after, do you have a picture? Im going out to where the car is on Wednesday

I think all he needs are the two bracket that are bolted to the outback body that hold the rear trailing arms. They push the arms backwards thus pushing the wheel in the center of the arch after its been lifted if i have read all the post about that mod correctly:)

That's exactly right- the bracket bolted to the chassis that connects to the front of the trailing arm is the bit i need! Pretty sure it's three bolts per side.

http://www.dirtyimpreza.com/forums/show ... hp?t=20924 there is a photo halfway through the first post of the trailing arm mount.

these brackets don't move the pivot point back, just down. You can achieve the same thing with suitable sized lift blocks if you want.

The Outback on Gumtree belongs to forum member 'Mainbreak' and his brackets are spoken for!!

Thanks for the heads up anyway.

I went from a subtle 25mm lift block to a 65mm one trying to get the wheels further back, the car handled like a pig (scary to drive) due to the shorter wheelbase I'd created and hoped the bigger lift would fix it but to no avail, it would twitch all over the place as soon as the accelerator was touched, in the end we got 4 trailing arms & cut them all & re joined/strengthened them to make a pair 25mm longer....absolutely perfect except I have to get around to ripping the 65mm lifts out as the wheels if anything are a little far back now but the Outback ones should be fine if you can get them.
