Vortex for sale....

Post by guyph_01 » Sat Oct 01, 2011 10:06 pm

So i will have to sell my green vortex as i can't afford three rejo. I'm selling the green one as i found a white one thats already awd and will be easier for me to convert to WRX running gear.

Here are the details

vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=1702

I'm not in a hurry to sell it as its my only reliable car at the moment. Because i travel about 50 k's to uni and back 4times a week and can't afford to break down and really need a reliable car. So for now the price is at $2250, well to tell the truth the $250 is the negotiation margin so $2000 lol.

I know most of you know i bought it cheap but since i had it i spent a few $$
With a good running cond engine, A non leaking gearbox, New radiator 8 months old, New water pump 8 months old, New timing belts 8 months old, New leads 8 months old, Recent service including plugs, oil filter, oil, GT40 coil pack, Tyres, And a few more things.

Anyway the price is obviously negotiable...
Thx

TOONGA ? You got any room for a spare - we know Mrs T likes them.

Looking at an engine swap labour costs, new radiator, new water pump and timing belts and your service, etc, and gearbox swap - gotta be a bargain reliable chick magnet of an appreciating asset :)

I'm pretty sure if I bought Kermit I would have to move into it. as well I would probably just part it out which is sacrilege even to me.

Besides KPM parts is in no hurry to sell :)

Not a bad return from $100 car ;) You've spent way too much time with my car salesman mate Lee.. I knew that would be dangerous

Nah it would be sacrilege to part it out, Yes $100 but it wasn't running, Wasn't lic, Had a leaking gearbox, blown engine and its wasn't free to get it back running!! It was on the verge to get parted out and i saved it:( Good base to get converted like the grey one your friend did:)

BTW i never said the price was firm:)

We need to pimp the ad a bit more...like

"Wanna car designed in a wind tunnel...drag Cd of 0.29 ! "

Stick to your guns guyph , these cars are worth the money you ask.

Had a kid of about ten do an about turn when he saw mine today, drawing it to his dads attention, mouth open w i d e.

Park it near the local high school with for sale signs on it, print off the better car mag reviews in here and the aerodynamic report - inpsire some dude outside here :)

That'll take off. Is this so that once the new owner signs up and posts some pics we can pay them out about the original cost of the car - keeping the original condition very quiet of course!

Best of luck with the sale guyph. Keep it clean, drive it smartly - no ken block - and you'll find the right buyer.

Cheers
