Red Hill OffRoad trip Sat 5th

Post by guyph_01 » Sun Oct 23, 2011 7:15 pm

Hi guys,

So the tracks that we got to explore were really fun, interesting and at time challenging. We had a blast. So i'm keen to go and explore more:) We basically did half a day. And from what i can see on Google earth we only did about 1/4 of the tracks.

Hopefully more of the WA crew will be able to come on Saturday 5/11/11 :)
Have a look here for the pics, will upload more and some vids too soon.

Its illegal to 4x4 there and too hard core for any subaru if you want to do any of the decent stuff
my07 Outback
my13 Hyundai i45(shhhh)
my02 Gen3 Liberty limited ed.

previously
L-series wagon, LSD, EJ20turbo, 29in tyres, 'wanky wagon'
2000 gen3 outback, lifted, otherwise stock.

Really???? how do you know? We saw a beach buggy also that said it had done the tracks a few times...

We had a good time and did quite a bit. Yes theres some hardcore tracks but pretty sure even your patrol wouldn't have made it. its like comp or crawler terrain.

because we have been there before.

its property of the live working mine thats attatched to the other side of the hill u dont see.

and yeh, theres some tuff tracks, but nothing rock buggy worthy. most of us have done all the tracks around there in some of the bigger 4x4's

so be carefull u dont get caught there

did anyone get caught? what happens when you do?

I don't want to risk problems but just saying its a shame as it was a lot of fun. Maybe i'll change the location then to the Powerlines:D

Would anyone be keen to go to the power lines????

Or is there a similar place thats legal?? I don't want sand nor mud, just mild rocky dust tracks:)

Yeah cause Alex and Dave never do anything that's illegal :p
