Or maybe this import liberty

Is that a quad cam engine? never seen something like this before. If it is that would be a great engine for a L series conversion:)

With the hole in the fire wall on the LHS it looks like it may have been an american import?? It'd be interesting to trace the history of this subi, I've never seen an EJ intake like that one either.

If it is run off a dizzy it's still an EFI - I've not heard of an EJ that was dizzy and EFI like the MPFI EA82s, I thought the dizzy run EJ's were only carbie fed...

It's also got ABS too, so if it is/was a '91 as is from the factory it's way ahead of it's time in the liberty line up! I bet getting parts for it would be a bitch if you just took the details of the car into your local parts joint...

Cheers

Only the 22B was the only EJ22 quadcam.. the VZ's are EJ20 quadcam. I've still got 3 of these 2.0ltr engines on the shelf.

Jap import.. very popular in their day over there. The leads go to a coil pack just at the back of the inlet manifold on the rhr side.

Nah Bennie.. just a factory RH drive car. I have a good friend (infact the guy who got me my current job) that had a black one. I've got some pics somewhere. I converted his to turbo but it had ever other option that was available in that year.

The EJ18 SPFI were fitted with the centre carby like fuel injuected carby and dizzy. I wanted to use that manifold on Jules's Brumby but they are getting very hard to find nowdays.

My 91 RS Liberty is a Aus delivered car complete with ABS.

I had my good friend buy this on my behalf but he got there just before this MY came up, then he had to leave so don't know who much the Legacy went for.

But does anyone know how owned this MY Touring Wagon? I'm sure I've seen this on here or around the traps??

Yeah.. me too but don't know where.

Plans are to make 1 out of 3.. I has 2 others in storage. I'm going to be working with my 2nd son to build it up for his first car.
