It was out the back of Lancelin, it was about the only clean dune I could find to get some decent shots from, shame it was so small.

Tyres are just 205/60/16 Sumitomo road tyres, I'll go for some 225's next time.

Hopefully the movies turn out ok, the guy who was with me had to go north the next morning so it may be over a week before I get the full results, we had 2 GoPro's stuck to the car for close to an hour of non stop but he reckons only a max of 5min of good video, it was as rough as guts up there from the weekend traffic and the camera's were bouncing all over the place.

I know, I know but its a big part of my life and I really miss her.
Wow that almost sounds wierd but you know how I feel.

I can't wait to driver her again and really want to add more mods and finish things off. Im pretty keen to test out this locker too and see if it actually works!!

What do you sand mites do to rid the sand from near bloody everywhere after your little play session , buzzing around in the abrasive stuff?

Sit on 150 for a while to blow it out then just give it a hose off underneath when I get home, the sand at Lancelin is 70 - 80% lime and a very very fine powder, they have been mining it for years to lay on farmers paddocks.

Epic pics D-Gen. The sand looks really soft like powder.. how was it?

It was chopped to buggery from older traffic and pretty soft but the car didn't seem to notice it and I had 20lb in the tyres as I knew I'd be doing some pretty hard turns, it's not like the soft crap on the beach at Two Rocks and Lanno which I later luckily managed to get out of without getting bogged................Just !!!!

i was on 7/8 psi the last time i was on the beach at two rocks...thats some chopped up soft sand up there, lanno is a bit easier

Yeah I headed south toward the point at Lanno and it got quite steep an narrow about 3/4 the way there - a bit like Two rocks, in the end I had to drop down to the smooth stuff and take the risk, but luckily it was hard as rock unlike the shit in the sig pic so managed to flick it around and get back up on the old tracks again but I was still on 20lb and had 8 ramps in the back so not too worried.
