4G = 4 Grand $$$

Mike is looking for one around $4000 with the lowest kms possible.

I has a 'Limited' one getting fix but with the workshop move and all, the car probably wont be ready till early next year. Mikes wife's car now starting to show signs of age, he's wanting to put her into something a little more reliable.. especially as she must travel with his pride and joy everywhere :cool:

Probably as to get one for $4k then it's most likely going to have some pretty high kms. Danielle's had 330,000kms when we brought that for $2200 and it's still going as strong today even with the big tow of a camper to Coral Bay.. EJ20 over EJ25 for reliability ;)

$2200!!! That was a good score Paul
Yep I'm looking for a good buy, I know they come up, it's usually better when I have more time on my side. I've got my feelers out everywhere. I thought my liberty was a good buy from Toonga. Good to get a car from an enthusiast.

My brother in-law has exactly what you are chasing, and he lives in Greenwood so would imagine checking it out would be fairly easy.

Auto white Forester with a low Km (120,000) Impreza EJ20 replaced professionally by Jap Wholesale in Wangara. Needs shocks, rear diff binds slightly at times and the front right guard needs minor panel massaging.

I've called him to tell him your hunting, but am yet to speak to him. I'll let you know once I get the message through!!

Regards
Jayd

I have a 4.11 rear diff if you buy the car:p From an Auto Outback. Think them are the same...

More than likely the diff bind is the centre diff (AWD pack) as this is vevy common to fail. Danielle's car has the same issue but we have never worried about it, just needs a couple more revs when in tight turns like carparks.

It's an auto Forester Guyph ;)

The chemiweld in the wife's car seems to be holding up, so I've still got some more time to keep looking.
