Get together for some 4 wheeling
Get together for some 4 wheeling
Hey fella's.
Speaking to Paul the other day, mentioned it would be good to get together and make some old subies dirty . New motor is running sweet at the moment. Would people be interested in something in the near future?
Regards
Doug

Yes... it was nice on Saturday
Paul and I went to the state forrest behind Brunswick at a secret location only to be shared if you make the journey south
Nearly 30 kilometres of tracks in around 2 hours so much stuff we didn't film or take pictures of; waterfalls, water crossings mud hills and sooo much more.
I need my headers straightened (a bash plate would help heaps) and a new CV boot.
Paul needs new radius rod rubbers.
We met up with a crew from 4x4ing Perth who were rather impressed we had gotten to where we were we then followed them out of the forrest in the dark

Clay, gravel, limestone and granite that one wasn't too slippery another one I didn't attempt was nothing but clay.NachaLuva wrote:That was a nice long climb. Looked like clay, was it very slippery?
Not a problem Doug Im pretty sure I will be going again ... as soon as the CV and mystery noise are sorted Oh and a bash plate or 2 are put on PJ as well.Subydoug wrote:Awesome fella's. sorry I couldn't make it. Got the wagon mostly sorted. Clutch is 150% better. Ended up swapping all my oils and retuning the weber, which likes a size or two down on the main. Also checked the tappets again, all good.
