 yeah ok I hear ya, spose we had better look at where our destination is likely to end at (Adelaide, Eyre Peninsula) and work out how much time everyone has off, I will be good for 2 and a half weeks (18 days) (Rockingham to Rockingham).

Looks like Guy is giving this some thought.

Cheers

I'd like to end up at Coffin Bay, as this was my plan for this year. This is really good for all (IMO) unless you have any other plans?

18 days from Rocko to Rocko should be plenty. The other thing is I've only been thinking of the trip across, there's also the return trip to stop and see other places.

Deffinately interested WayneO. Il run it past the boss. Like I said though work is very in the moment for me so long term plans can be difficult.

Coffin Bay 100% sold on that one, we could hire a tinny there and crabs galore (MMMMmmmm), here is an Eyre Peninsula brochure http://eyrepeninsulavisitorguide.realvi ... #folio=OFC .

Streaky Bay, Arno Bay, Elliston (Australia's best Salmon fishing spot).

Sorted? I'm guessing started... and you're not going to see how far Honeycomb gets before she falls apart (if she does)?? That's rude mate!

No matter what the dates are I'm out - can't get that time off mid term, no two ways about it :(

I expect loads of pics upon your return!

Heya Bloke, Just waiting to head down to Perth at the end of this month or the start of next month to discuss the details with Paul.

ATM I am in some sort of dramas with the L Series with a bent rear axle and trailing arm but hope to have everything fixed and some spare cash afterwards to do the trip in August.

But will keep you updated, cheers for for interest.

Cheers

Is this trip still happening? :) What are the dates roughly? And how much grief would I likely get into in a bog stock Brumby?

I'm not sure on the exact dates but I need to be in SA around mid August and leave around the end of the 3rd week, as I'll be catching up with my Dad. Dad is moving over to the West from Brizzy and I don't think he'll be coming down to Coffin Bay.

I'm pretty sure a stock Brumby would have no issues. I used to take mine (bog stock) everywhere even with the suspension set at low. I was planning to take my Outback but I'm not sure if it will be finished in time :( Wonder if I can take Danielle's Foz
