Sniffing for ANOTHER ej22 motor.

Just putting my feelers out at the moment... anyone know of any for sale. MUST be good condition... sick of this dodgy motor business. Mines smoking like a chimney... sometimes... it has issues.

heh....this won't help you at all but worth a mention. I got offered an entire smashed Liberty wagon, and oh my god......the engine is a write off.
No kidding......the power steering pump, alternator, A/C compressor are actually impregnated into the front of the block. The gearbox and bellhousing are completely shattered.
The guy has sold the rear diff and a couple of other things, I don't think there is anything else of value available at all - but the whole thing is up for grabs for $100 8O

Dave if I was you I'd be looking on the rsliberty forums, they're always getting rid of em after turbo conversions, usually pretty cheap too.

Rob has a ej22 motor about to come out for a conversion to Rs turbo .

I haven't got around to working out how much oil it uses over set distances... im thinking i might fill it with jelly or something.... see what happens..

Thanks but i don't want a motor that requires any work. Im better off getting mine rebuilt if thats the case. Also... i messaged the guy last week about this with no responce... so unless it's SUPER cheap... not interested.

I went to mikes tonight ( late ) The motor is sitting on the floor in his shed .Its a very good motor he tells me . I did ask him if you called , he told me no
I dont have a moblie phone my self , due to every one would text me .
4 years ago I threw the fucking thing out the window of my car
and never looked back .To date I dont have one .
Mate if you let this one pass you by you may not get another as good

The point is... the motor needs work. I don't want one that needs work. Mine needs work... why would i get my self stuck with 2 motors that needed work. I think that made sence. Looks like i might turn to getting mine rebuilt.
