Hi gang,

Just wondering if anyone is interested in hitting the beach this Sat? Looking at leaving Rocko around noon. Will be looking at doing a late night fish, so most likely staying overnight but you don't have to if you don't want.

Cheers,
Paul

If wifey lets me I will come up in the brumby as long as the bank hasn't emptied my account.

If Doug were to make the trip I would have a set of vortex alloy rims for him as well :)

Yeah mate Im in. Been hanging out for it as its been a pretty crazy week at work.

That's be mint mate, I still havent seen the brumby on the beach. We will have to have a beach drag. Outback, two MY's and a Brumby would look mint side by side coming down the beach!

Regards

Doug

Sweet Toonga, I was meeting Paul at either his crib or the workshop at around 12 on saturday. Your probably better off heading straight for the beach, but best off chatting to Paul about where.

WayneO........no excuse mate..........not angry..........just disappointed...........:D

No problems. I got a new camera for Christmas this year. Meant to mount it into the car and it continuously records. Il slap it onto the windshield and see how far I get on the corrugations before it drops off :D. probably not much further then the spare wheel .

WTF??? Did you win the lotto? As for the meeting place and time.. read the first post but if you feel that driving to Rocko too far, then we can meet you on the beach or the road to the beach.

Yeah Doug, I should be home by noon, as I have to fix an Impreza first thing in the morning but should be finished early enough to get home and get the car packed.

I'm with you mate.. very disappointed :p

Cool.. can't wait to get some footage. I've seen a few tracks to explore, so lucky we don't have any EA82s to slow us down ;)

Nope I just needed to get out of the house for an afternoon :)

While I didn't stay the night, I did catch this monster while fishing for whiting to be used as bait for bigger fish.

The last time I caught a flounder was when I was very young, to be precise 40 years ago. It was about the same size and tasted fantastic :)

there is a photo of that one as well somewhere in a house in Trigg.

I'm hoping the rest of the crowd has caught some bigger fish :)

Not too many bigger fish. I got a few Herring and kept getting little bream. Couple of crabs. Paul got a nice Tailor dozen or so Herring and a few Pyke. Most of the fish seemed small.

Here are some pics I snapped.

This photo looks great but imageshack doesnt do it justice.

Oh and Toonga, thanks heaps for the rims mate. Gave a quick cut and polish but need to get some more polishing pads. They look Sexy as in that 80's look.

Didn't we all need to :) Thanks for coming down for a beach run and glad you were able to catch some fish.. even if you didn't bring a rod ;)

Richard caught a Tailor and a few Herring and Doug was doing a lot of fishing for the future.. plenty of catch and release :)

We had a slow night of fishing but it was great just to relax on the beach and listen to some music.. even if it did flatten my battery
