Air Flow Meter - EA82 MPFI, swap for test

Post by subanator » Tue Jun 13, 2006 11:40 pm

Hi all, just wondering if someone could help me out so that I could borrow a hotwire airflow meter for a test run. This is so that i can eliminate that mine is faulty or ok. Anyone in Perth or Mandurah?

Needs to be from the 4 plug ECU model (later), turbo or NA motor the same.

Much appreciated,
Roger

[4MUFF], thanks for the reply.
I did tee up with WOOB (Damon) today to go and try his on Saturday.

However, I will keep your offer in mind if this doesnt work out.
Cheers, Roger.

A big thanks to Woob for helping me out with another AFM to try. It proved not to be the AFM anyway. He (Damon) drove mine to confirm my flatspot in acceleration.

I did help him out too by having a look at his EA81 coupe. Found a dirty coil lead, now runs heaps better! (Straight little runner for the next owner)

Hope you arnt sworn off Subaru's forever Damon, now that you have decided to sell up both cars?

hehe ill never give up on subaru :) only reason im saying goodbye to the MY is because i need 4 doors.

if i could afford to i'd keep it as a project car without hesitation.

and no worries with helping you out mate. looks like theres a chance the RX will live on atm, so ill keep you up to date on how it goes.

gimme a yell if you need a hand with anything else.

-Damon
