I have done some serious work to a DVD that i plan to have up and running shortly.

It will include the Music Videos i have already released in there highest possible quality, several un-realeased music videos which i am working on and Slide shows from our past trips.

There may also include an EXTRAS section containing some other popular footage i have found on the internet.... both subaru related and non-subaru related.

Looking to be very very good DVD and a definate MUST for the people who frequent our meets.

I wanted to get the opinion of some of the WA crew and ask them if they think i should go the full hog with DVD labeling and covers etc etc?? Only problem is there would be a cost per DVD for people wanting them

Also a rough idea of who would want one and what would be considered a decent price?? Basically if i can't cover the costs of making them then it wont be sent out.

I also may need someone to test the DVD out and watch every minute of footage on it and look for glitches or problems with it... Im aiming to use the FULL DVD so it might end up being around 80 mins long.

The answers to all of these questions will influence if it will end up being posted state wide to people that want it.

Im also open to suggestions for anything else people would like to see on the DVD.

I watched the last 1 and am willing to watch this 1.

I know that we discussed the cover thing a looong time ago. If its just for me i would just have the cd, however for marketing to the board maybe the covers could be a 'nice' package, as long as cost were minimal - i think from memory i could get pics on cd and maybe covers for about $2 a cd.

as far as price, cost plus 10% at least no cheeper than 10buks :P

personally i dont care if its just a blank cover but id be willing to pay for the whole package too.

great idea mate ill pay for one hey surely if you do it right you could sell em $20 or more. id say youve put alot of time into it so you try and make a few bucks hey. if you sell enough it might recover some of your engine rebuild for ya........

i would be up for one of them dvd's as well, either plain, or with the fance cover, and i would pay probably up to $20 as well....

Just an update...
I have done the main menu and compiled a few more videos.... i have some sub menus to do and and i need to complete one more compilation video.

Also i have 5 more Slide shows to do.... im pretty much going to keep filling the DVD with stuff until it is full... I have made special measures so it should work fine on any format TV too.

Pretty much just have the slide shows left to do and im begining to worry about the space i have left on the disk... I have showed a couple of people some of the content and it's looking like i might have to buy another spindle of blank DVDs.

Just made a DEMO disk of it except the slide shows to find any bugs... have a few things that needed fixing... mainly the audio levels.

Not yet... had some ratehr big bugs that need addressing... when i can;t find anyhitng more wrong with it i will get someone to go over it and see what they think.
