moore river

just wondering if anyone has been up to moore river lately I was planning to go up on the weekend and was wondering how much water is in it (ie water level) cheers any reports would be good.......

the mouth usually breaks into the ocean at about mid-winter...and closes up again about now..
but im thinking due to the really dry winter we've had it probably didnt even break this year...it'll probably be stagnant...
going there for abit of fishing waggaclint? i hear the bream action is pretty damn fine there!

yeah mate going for a fish hopefully theres a few bream about..Not to worried if the mouth is closed but just aslong as theres water in the river so we can launch a boat easy....

yeh...ive had some pretty good sessions in there hey...half a dozen bream on hard bodied lures..all well over the 750gram mark..some pushing a kilo..
