Visitor from the far east pub get together

Post by wagonist » Wed Nov 16, 2005 1:32 pm

I've been visiting your luuuuverly part of the country  , but now its almost time to go home  (I would've organised this sooner but I found this forum working again Sunday night)

So as a way to meet some of you guys, I'm organising a night out at the local pub to where I'm staying.

Thursday night 17 November
Balmoral Inn
Albany Hwy & Westminster St, Victoria Park

start rocking up at around 7:30pm or so
Beer will be cold :D , barmaids will be friendly & good looking :D , & hopefully likewise some of the oterh clientelle
Oh, a lot of crap will be spoken about

See you there

I know this is a work night for most people, so if you don't want a big one, that's fine, its just a chance to meet.

I will try and make it... no guarentees due to work un-predictablity.

For those who are coming, I'm sure you know each other, but I'm a short blond guy with glasses & will probably be hanging around the pool table pretending to be a shark

Pretending to be a shark? You came a lot closer to sharkdom than I did. I don't think I sank a ball all night...

Great catching up with you wagonist. Great talking heaps of Suby stuff with you, even if it did drive the Toyota boys mad. I can guess from your "WA Suntan" that you've had a great time over here, will be good to catch up again on whichever side of the country it happens to be. A little bit of a pity I was the only WA Subaru guy there, but at short notice it's a bit tricky to organise :D

Oh, and don't forget to send me the pictures of those brakes! :D

I think it was only coz I'd played pool at that pub at least 4 nights in the 2 weeks I'd been there, more pool than I'd played in about 2 years.

And next time I'll try to give more notice & arrange to have a weekend free to go 4wding

Would have liked to come down and meet you , just that week nights is a bit hard with the two boys having to get up at 6.30 for school, they are only 7 and 9.
Next time would be good , make sure that you are here on a weekend :).

Michael.
