I was down in Busselton until last night.. got pretty hot down there too.
90 acres is all burnt out fellas. Freeway was blocked between Safety Bay Rd (ie the start) and Anketell... added 45mins to my trip back.

Trying to sleep last night was insane... First thing i did this morning was run out and buy a portable air conditioner for the bedroom. Money was no object.

I worked both Christmas and Boxing Day 40 & 44degC (shift work sucks), it wasnt easy shifts either, things were stuffing up all over the place due to the heat and kept us pretty busy.

Ah, I feel for you. We haven't hit over 40 this Summer yet in the Hunter Valley Desert which is a nice change.

Our hottest day in the last 3 months was only 34.7oC in October

In fact we only got 4 days over 40 last year at all. What a mild year - all in January. Lovin' this weather - darn global warming
