Given the size of deluge today (well up North anyway), and the prediction of rain again tomorrow, is anybody going anywhere to get dirty?

90 acres is very sandy apparently. All that slimy slippery black shit has disappeared. Hard to even whip nuts. And its full of metallic bits and peices worse than usual.

bloody pines. broke my car. only just realised this morning that it bent the blades engine fan into the rad somehow and now that is caught and wont spin. i was overheating and had to pull over on the side of the freeway again. also lost my rad cap- lucky i have a new waic with another.
bent a fair few fins. may need another rad.

i dont think the pines can make ur fan move into your radiator? id say check your engine mounts and stay rod. bit of a worry

yeh we went over some pretty big bumps. i think thats what might have caused engine to move forward enough to **** things up. anyway ive just spent the last couple of hours bending back fins and taking the fan off, rad seems ok beacause its not leaking, and then installing another thermo fan. took her for a thrash and things seem better. shes not pissing out of the overflow anymore.

yep they are the best things for securing thermo fans to the radiator. and can be good to fix bent fins too.
