I just got them. There is a bit of rust but they have no runout and the tyres are good so I was ok with paying $120 for the lot.

Coupe at Gilman yard, looks pretty good. I didn't check, but in this picture it looks like it has power steering.

Image

Had 4 13" alloy wheels, I took them off to buy them but they wanted $40 each so I left them in the basket at the front. All were usable, one was a bit scratched but nothing major.

Anyone know if the BH outbacks are still at the Elizabeth U Pull It and if either or both of them are manuals?

Power steering is now all gone, however the Air con is still there, its dash panel is electronic NOT analogue and is still there. Auto box. Seats are crap. Windscreen is good. has a tow bar.

I've sent a PM to all the SA group Members, there are still unreplied invite out there to Brumby91, Talasas, Brumby Kid and 1983wagon, pls check your User CP to see the invitation, or PM me for an invite.

cheers

Thanks mate. So the website says there is a White BH outback and a green BH liberty. I just need the centre diff from a manual 8 bolt box so I was hoping with of these might have a manual box.

Lonsdale only has 1 MY wagon now. Plenty of L's and Liberty's. It has a Impreza with a fair bit left on it but it's an auto. Both blue BG outbacks are still there, ones missing intake manifold. Both auto.

Phiz, why not use any other centre diff and housing? They'll bolt up, spines etc will work on the diff/pinion etc.

If you've got one laying around it'd be worth having a go with that one.

Cheers

Thank Bennie, I had figured this out already but I didn't realise at the time I posted in here that it was possible to interchange. I had an old centre, and when I saw the 8 bolt one I thought theres no way they would be interchangeable as they look pretty different and the way the vlsd unit interacts is quite different using different splines on the rear output. But with the backing plate and diff it should work in any box/casing.

Lonsdale has a Vortex now. Set of 14x6 mags with good tyres (gone now). Looks very clean mechanically. People throw away the darndest things...... The last of the MY wagons was headed to the crusher when I was there. Some lucky bugger got the p/s from it months ago.

Brumby at Lonsdale. Still plenty of good parts. Chrome strips are there except tailgate (tailgate also not there). Rear bumper bits, there was two sets and I took one. Left tail light lens is good but was pealed from backing. The right lens was cracked worse than mine. Has 4 13" mag wheels and the tonneau cover.

Also theres an almost complete red MY wagon.

I had a bit of a pick at it this morning. The wagon has a/c that looks complete. I don't have the time to pull it all out so I'll leave it to someone more dedicated☺. Did score the ratty old tourneu (sp?). Good to meet henpecked out there too.

Anyone been to any of the yards lately? Looks like there are 2 2nd gen wagons at Londsdale, but I don't want to have to go all that way to find they don't have front struts, as I am after a pair.
