hmm... I'm really pissed off... I can't come on Saturday. I just pulled my exhaust off so I could replace the gaskets with better ones as it was starting to leak pertty bad again. when I got it off I found the welded up plug in the stud hole was broken loose and oil was coming out the hole again,

again, as in, I tried fixing a striped stud and drilled too far, then the helicoil rip off stuffed up and tried fixing it again. then I went and got it fix by a pro. he drilled the hole out, filled it with a alloy plug and welded it in. and then put a helicoil in that. now his weld has failed.

So i can't come... soo bloody angry. ohwell. I guess i'll have to catch up with everyone some other time. Sorry.

That wasn't to bad huh? Pitty only 2 of us AUSubaru guys turned up (bloody aussies are just to slack.) It was good to have a chat with fellow subie owners. Should be good next time. Maybe we should offer free feul as well?

Well, I got the head back on. It runs again. But sounds like _ _ _ _. I think it maybe more exhaust leakage. Oh well. I just have to let it cool down and retorqu the head. Then do the rockers again, and hopfully i can go have some fun. Need to find some mud...

Thanks for the drink and food wildhorse. I owe you something. Maybe I'll catch up with you on MSN.

We should do this again some time. I would organise a BBQ at my place but for the fact it is too far away. And most don't like to travle with petrol prices as they are these days.

Anyone want to host a subie BBQ? I'm keen to come, hopefully my Brumby wouldn't give me too much hassles this time.

What do ya say?

Hey Steve. I'd like to join in, just wondering why you said "both Fri night to Sun"? Because 12,13,14 is tues to thurs. My brother has a 83 wagon now but he works weekends, night be able to get him off a Saturday. When will we know the dates for sure?

Whats it like out at Geranium? Haven't heard anything about it.

Sorry Geranium is Oct, is the most fun you can have sitting down with your clothes on. Big hills much more foliage than Peake

Sounds like I'm gonna have to save up for a couple of tanks of fuel... And maybe a new driveshaft

I haven't been to either of these places before, so, Where do we meet up at and what time?

Well peake was a blast. Looking forward to my next visit there. I'll have some pics and maybe a video on my site later this week, maybe next week. Until then, happy offroading, and let me know what else is on!
