hot enough for ya?

Post by sven '2' » Wed Jan 28, 2009 9:34 pm

For the non-crow eaters (hmmmm...crow meat)

45.7C today...not complaining, cooler day predicted for Thursday only 44C

Hottest day since 1939.

RS didn't like crawling in the PM traffic too much - most unhappy

I was weatherzoning Adelaides minimum for Tuesday night. It didn't hang around 32 for long as it looks like most of the early hours sat around 34 - so you only had an increase of 10 degrees or so for the day:) You'd like to treat your cars intake to nice A/C air on a day like that eh?

Yeah, its a bit hot. Got to 47 down here, and because we have no aircon it was 42 inside.

I drove home from Adelaide on Tuesday in the L series at 5pm. Temp hit the red line a couple of times. Idle was at 2000rpm, lots of pinging, hunting all over the rev range, and all those other things heat does to a poor old car.

Loving it over here! I'd like to have a day or two of 50 degrees (yes I'm crazy) but I don't think that'll be happening...

Summer is here - oh and so is global warming

Cheers

Cooled off nicely last night. Still kinda cool now. Just keep the fluids up, and I keep my fluids topped up with ice.

Now that the "cool change" has come through we got a thunder storm this morning which was good, I love them!

I'm hoping the hot weather comes back again, I kinda miss it already...

Cheers

In this season I am seriously scared of lightening! In 07 we had two fires started within 10km of our place which is surrounded by scrub and bush on a hill...
