Not as fast as last time. Second gear, 3000rpm maybe, in low range (had a tie down strap on the low range lever!)
We got air a lot this weekend. On the flat top we done it every heat and both the semi finals, I think we done 6 heats, so 8 jumps there. But left the ground at least once or twice more each lap. Tough little beast! We fixed the strut top problem before we came out to this race. But in our last semi final the front right must of come off the bead (3rd time over the weekend) but this time it was early in the lap and we bent the radius rod over a bump.
Had it fixed in less then 15mins with parts off my Leone but turns out our lap was too slow to get into the finals.

There are a few more pics at http://offroadingsubarus.com/forum/inde ... opic=657.0

This is our big jump from last year, that was about 5000 or 6000 rpm in 2nd low. That hurt, and bent both seats, plus broke both strut tops extra reinforcing we welded in.

No, 6 months. Well, a year since the last Mud Dust and Music, but he runs two events a year, MDM and Riverland Challenge.

Wow. Pretty impressive.

Must come down and watch it in action one day.

I never thought you would be able to push that much power out of an EA :P

Congrats, you built one hell of a car mate.

As you might of guessed I didn't really pay attention to the RPM or speedo, but I done a test in my own car and I reckon the RPM over the jump was more like 3500-4000 (last year we hit it at about 6000 and thats what broke and bent a lot). Would of been about 30 to 35kph I guess. Pretty slow, but its a sharp jump.
