BBQ meet up in Birdwood?

Post by Phizinza » Sun Jul 18, 2010 11:03 pm

Who is keen to have a BYO BBQ Subaru meet up in Birdwood? Just a gathering to say g'day and all that. Maybe a drive through the hills if anyone knows any good routes. I'm no local up there so I don't really know the area. No dates set as yet, just want to know who is actually interested in meeting and talking to fellow crazed Subaru drivers?

'Spike' suggested we head up to the Collingrove Hillclimb in August

By then I might have the Outback on the road.

Who would be interested in that? $55 entry for a Come n Try. Get a run up the track and a time. Could be a good bit of fun!?

I'm keen providing my car is going well, just finished EJ conversion and need to iron out quite a few kinks before i can drive it with confidence.

Cheers,

Jake.

I'm not going to have the Outback ready by then so I won't be heading there to have a go. If someone else organises some people who are going I'll maybe come along for a watch and some lunch.

I'm still interested in just having some lunch somewhere with a small bunch of subie drivers. Only had 4 people interested in that so far so I'm not going to waste my time setting something up. My past expereicne is if you have 10 people interested you may get 3 turn up!
