Goolwa to River mouth

Post by stephendean » Sun Mar 11, 2007 10:59 pm

Has anyone done the Goolwa to river mouth track. I have a standard touring wagon, no lift. I am wondering if it would be up to it?

You will be able to make it most of the way down but there is a hill just b4 the mouth that i wouldnt try getting up unless you have another 4x4 with you. you can just stop and walk to the mouth from there though so its definatly worth the trip.

i did this over chrissy, and i aggree withlukes6 here...its doable with a standart tourer but the last little bit may be a little hairy if u dont have a recovery vehicle with you just in case..otherwise a good drive indeed:) enjoy the trip dave

Don't forget if your on standard 175/70R13's to air them down to about 12-14PSI and drive carefully. This should help out a lot.
