Tell me about it. I spoke to Stuart this morning for about an hour again about various things. One of them being a hill top with a vertical drop only 15 mins from his house. Excellent views of the valley.

In the words of the legend "I'M EXCITED!!!!"

Yeah I don't think 3 weeks is going to be long enough. Bring on long service leave (in 3 years time)

You want to start planning a month up there now? 6 week trip? Will have to ask the man if we are able to be there that long beforehand though.

is anyone going away australia day weekend?

sunday or monday arvo meetup (presumably at brett's place?)

We don't have plans now so we are free all weekend. Keep in mind Monday is the club meeting, so we could get together here in the arvo and go on from there. Or meet in Brisane a few hours early before the meeting.

before the meeting could be a goer. Would be handy to have internet though to look stuff up...

but if we can do without the net, i can probably get hte clubhouse keys so we can get in early

Are you going to tell him the real trip? Or the one we send him on?

Might be better if we did it Sunday arvo then? I think it would be good for Brian and Bec to be at the meeting. Give them a chance to get excited about it as well as have some input.

There isn't really much input that has to be done though. We really have our dates set that we can be away and the date we have to be home. We know where we are going and at pretty much what date as well.

Once we work out the nitty gritty of days around alice/ayres rock, we then know how long we have to go to Wollogorang before we have to go home.

I have a feeling this trip is going to be a fair bit more hectic than the last one. Same time off with 2000k's more driving.

He'll probably put us to work if we hang around too long ;) You'll get sicked onto the brumby

As for tourist stuff around Alice Springs, I'm not overly interested as I did it last year and my passenger has indicated a very keen interest in getting to Wollogotraz for some hunting/fishing/exploring etc.
