2 months people!

Post by vincentvega » Wed Apr 02, 2008 11:07 am

Couldnt sleep sunday night, and about 1AM it occurred to me.. shit we are leaving in 2 months!

time to pull the finger out and get organised. I am so far from ready to go... not a lot of things that will stop me from going but a lot that will annoy me if they arent done in time.

I seem to do this to myself alot. I made my list longer by buying some more stuff. The good bit is the major car bit has arrive from the USA, and just needs painting and installing. Then I can book in for the exhaust to be done. And I still have a large crack in my windscreen but that's and easy one that can be left to the last minute....or possibly ignored.

I just want to pack and go already. I'm sick of waiting.

iIf I were you Dane I would leave the replacement till y0ou get back , just incase you get some more damage to the screen . The crack that is there now will be quite safe even if it gets bigger as it would only be on the outside layer.

Mike.

I will take a photo of it and get your opinion Mike.

Thats $200 i can spend on cooler things like a rear tyre carrier so I am happy to leave it a while ;) Thanks

Haven't brought the steel to build my trailer yet,to make matters worse i 've been reading a camper trailer build up on another forum were a guy got crushed and killed while building one so Lisa's not to keen on me building one.I guess it'll be a last minute dash.If it was just me it would be a swag and food, that doesn't take long to put together.
I'm sure everything will fall into place.

Dane, you need a spare carrier more than a windscreen - and you'd only crack the screen on the trip anyway!

Please watch before posting!

The only thing in the photo that you can see that I am taking this time is the jerry can and the number plates. The rest I have to sort out.
