I cant wait till you get one of these "family things" Wilbur, you could do the trip ten times in the last year and still stress about what to bring and where to fit it all each time you go. You fill the Hilux now with the gear for one person, try packing it for 4 , I remember the days before kids and how easy it was to shoot away for the weekend, I used to come home from work at 11pm at night, pack the car in about 15mins and go, the funny thing is I will be kiddie free in a few years and you will prolly have a bus full LOL :)

LOL, a bus full of little Wilburs. I can just picture them all out tip-toeing around being vewy vewy quiet hunting things, then a little Wilbur will get an attack of the giggles and the big Wilbur will be going off.

Roflmao, funny buggers aren't ya. I'd have to get one of those girlfriend or wife things before I get one of those family things.
If it ever happens I'll have to trade the ute on a troopy or a dirty big dual cab f-truck. Just so I can still take the tribe and all my gear :D

Getting things sorted. Not fixed but shuffled. Still have a hold up on work so it looks like I might have to come back from Fraser a day or two earlier to fit in some work to throw some trusses up. Should be all sweet if I can manage that.

You would think a major building company would be able to organize to have trusses ready for you and the slab the correct size before they call on the carpenters. It has really thrown a spanner in the works.

But looks like I'm a man down. The mate I was going to bring can't come now, so I'll be going solo again.

No but the Liberty is back in one piece and the exhaust is done and sounds nice (not leaking)

AC gets gassed tomorrow arvo and the trailer to finish before prepping the camper for Fraser.

I'm putting a lift in my wagon today and the rear diff and brakes. Might start packing later on-ish too. Only 2 sleeps until we leave.
