Excellent. We will have to work out a time and place in town to meet up. I was thinking maccas, as it's pretty hard to miss, plus there is plenty of room to sit around waiting for other people. What time do you reckon though ?

I am meeting Byron at dalby at about lunchtime. We are then spending the night at Mitchell.

My house is just down the gateway motorway for you. Meet at my place on the saturday morning. Come round whenever you want, I will probably leave about 10am to get to dalby around noon

I think Dave, Megan and I will be leaving Sunday morning. A rough estimate of what we are doing is Morayfield to Blackall on Sunday. Blackall to Boulia Monday.

Just finished off all my last mechanical jobs at scorpion so apart from getting *another* wheel alignment i'm sweet to go!!

dave: 3" tops with my new spring hats are PERFECT. thanks mate

Mmmm Winton. I've been commanded to drop into the bakery there to visit a co-workers sister. Apparently the grub isn't too bad either.

Woot. New exhaust and headers are on the ute. Must have at least 6hp now :D Look out !!

Have fun at fraser lads (and Megan). See you in Boulia.

You put a new exhaust on that old motor?
You realise none of it will be reused when you drop the 4.7 in don't you?

Yeah, I know. But it was leaking from everywhere and I was a little worried it would fall off at the cat this trip.

Oh and 2uz is heavier than 1uz and has less power ;) But that is along way off, if it ever happens.

Food used to be good at the Winton hotel in one of the back streets. My wifes brother has an engineering workshop in Longreach still. Last building on the left down the mainstreet heading toward Jundah and Birdsville. If you have trouble, could be handy. Peter Hirst Engineering. If he can't help, he'll point you to someone. Just say his dopey brother in law, Trevor sent you. Good luck guys, wish I was there. Another year maybe if we can all afford the fuel.
