If you ever go more up to the north/west of launnie (Boat Harbour Beach). I should be around to give a gday. Unleaded around me is from about $1.25 - $1.35

If you look up the fuelwatch website you'd be able to get prices.

fuel is everywhere the state isnt that long i van drive from wywyard to hobart on a little over 40ltrs in the lifted fuel guzzeling brumby
if you go touring through the back roads you might use a bit more

late at night is the killer only servos open in the citys not much between launcestion and hobart unless you have a bp or caltas card
got caught myself one sunday night extra 2hours detour home to get fuel

unleaded will cost around 1.20 to 1.30 mark and is cheaper in launcestion and hobart than it is up north

hope you have a good trip
theres lots to see

Was in Launceston last Friday was $121.9 (after staying at Cradle Mountain for honeymoon for 6 days).... make sure you bring warm clothing ;) which i was prepared... check http://www.weatherzone.com.au for locations of where you're going and will give you an idea how cold it would be...
Cheers
