newbie 92 liberty

ok so i have had my 82 liberty for a few weeks now and starting to like it, but being new to subaru I dont know to much about them, my problems are pulsing lights which i cant figure out (thinking bad earth somewhere) and being an auto the power button does not work, does anyone know how to fix these problems? i am reading throught the manual that i have found on this site, thanks to the boys who posted it..
