ej20t hunting at idle

hi i was just wondering if anyone could help me out i have a ej20t in a l series and it hunts at idle it has no air leaks and a new afm.

Have you tested the BOV is sealed correctly? Take it out and see if you can blow through it. Quite often they are the cause of hunting.

can you explain a bit more, does it idle from cold or hot or after driving (like arriving traffic lights etc) was it running well and now you're having problems or its been like this since conversion?

yes mate check the bov. Also make sure the pipe from the intercooler onto the turbo is good.(that got damaged the last time i took it off)

its weird that its doing it now as it was fine in my car.

it dose it all the time at idle as soon as you start it up. brand new bov and i tryed puting the old one back on. no codes. was good after convertion only started doing it the other day.

Try giving it a dose of upper engine cleaner, it is available from Subaru.
