rear end whine - L series 4wd wagon

Yeah replacing both rear bearing solved the problem - both sides were as bad as each other.

Its great to have a quiet rear end again!

Just to complete my part of the thread ...
Last weekend I replaced the passenger side rear wheel bearing and the whine was still there. I was convinced that was where the noise was coming from. Yesterday I replaced the drivers side rear bearing and hey presto! a lovely quiet car :)
