strange miss in engine

Hi Guys n Girls, My 86 ea82 Vortex has started to have a low rpm miss, its like 1 cly doesn't want to fire up or maybe get fuel until roughly 3,000 rpm then it cuts in and goes ok. Its MPFI and have done plugs, leads etc any suggestions before I pull injectors out and clean them?

Compression check? Maybe a head gasket starting to leak?

can you identify the cylinder by pull one spark lead off at a time then start car and see if any change if no change you may have identified the cylinder. Injector cleaner is a thing to try also the $17 subaru inlet tract cleaning foam is raved about
