I noticed 2 things. First there was the minor scoring on the plate itself from the handbrake lever operation. So there was a clue that it aint right. But the part numbers on the adaptors had the last letters of R and L which is why I had put them on the outside of the backing plate. This was the only way they fit with the letters L and R corresponding to left and right. Pauls suggestion of fitment meant i had to swap them over causing havoc in my slightly OCD mind. I did it anyway and it all fit together better in my opinion.
BUT the brake rotor did not move central to the caliper as also suggested. In fact now the mounting bolts scored my rotor and after spacing them out the rotor still interferes with the caliper mount. If i put the wheel on the whole thing locks up.. leaving me without a drivable car and one day to sort it.
Does anyone have any experiece with the kit or info i should know.. help..
I have an idea to get it on the road but it shouldnt have to come to that mauritian style of repairing.
