dent removal..
does anyone know any tricks to removing dents from the tailgate of a brumby???
i have a dent(about fist size) just above the crease on the left side... apart from this one dent, the tailgate is in great condition.
is it easier to try push it out from the inside, or put a self tapper, pull the dent out and patch the hole?

Riveted ...
If you can get to the back side of it, yes try and push it out.
Don't drill holes - just makes more work for yourself.
The pros use a spot welded rivet to 'pull' on, much neater & easier to work with :

Have you got a welder ? or you could try here : http://www.eastwood.com/stud-welder-den ... stem.html#

Ciao, Bantum ...
Body filler isn't meant to fill holes like that, if it doesn't fall off it will create a water trap on the inside and rust eventually. But then welding them successfully requires a different skill.
Will it ever end!?

i'm gonna sand the tonneau cleat holes, then dent them in a bit with a punch to give me something for the filler to grab on to... i wish i had the means to weld them, but it's just not my available means atm.. bog will have to do for now.
