EA82T air flow meter

Post by kiwi_subaru » Thu Nov 30, 2006 2:54 pm

hi guys i have an EA82T in my off road buggy. It stopped last time i was out, after i unplugged the air flow meter cable it went again. I have since replaced the air flow meter with another second hand one, still doesnt run when plugged in. what harm does it do not to run a air flow meter? as seems to go ok with out it. thanks for any answers. JIM.

It will run a bit hit and miss as it is only going to be guessing how much air is going into the engine. You havent had a crank vent hose crack or come off? None of the pins have worked out or broken in the plug of the AFM?
