heater and fan problems

hi i am having trouble with my subaru brumby 90 model i was driving one day and my fan stopped and now my fan and heater and ac doesnt work i have put a new fan in a new switch but there is no power going to it please i need help

Sorry to come across smart but, have you tried the fuse? Also measure the resistance from the fuse box to the wiring connector(on the output side of the fuse box to the power side of the fan wiring plug), should be close to 0 Ohms. Also just try putting an earth to one side of the connector and 12v to the other and check the fan spins up. Let us know how it goes.

yeah i have checked the fuses and i have hooket the fan up to the battery and it spins but when it is hooked back up nothing happens

Have you checked the resistors for the fan speed control? The unit is mounted in the heater box next to the clutch pedal.

Are you getting power to the fuse?

There may also be a relay under the dash for the aircon and fan that could have died. Had issues here with my 83 wagon. Mine was mounted above the headlight relays.

sorry took so long yeah i liiked it is fine and the switch is getting power what else could it be

it will be the little white canister in the engine bay on top of the firewall drivers side (on an L series anyway). it has vacuum lines connected to it. check all those are hooked up and havent melted off in the engine bay.

i have had a look and everything was hooked up but the fan still wont go i replaced the fan and the resistor and still nothing
