Air Con Woes

once the water turns to steam it won't register on the sender, but if the sender is a high value one it would operate before the water turns to steam. as long as you have water the engine will be ok no matter how hot it gets.
modern driers don't have the window as the new fluid is clear and you can't see the bubbles.
I run my air con for at least 30 minutes at least once a week. if you don't, as he said, the seals dry out and the gas leaks out.

Seriously?
Just the compressor or the whole A/C system?

sounds like a good idea & wouldn't be too hard to wire up either.
Just need to engage the clutch magnet via a relay from the reverse lights, except you wouldn't get the idle up function then (maybe).

yeah just the compressor clutch
not all new cars are doing but a few do
good idea

the idle up would depend on the car
would work with my EJ22
the ecu just takes a feed from the clutch wire so it would idle up as long as the compressor clutch has power
