Its snowing! Still. Its the best snow I've seen EVER! But it is only my first season so there could've been better years that I don't know about...

As for Ruby Scoo, I dare say that she's getting a good blanket covering going on again. I'm trying to upload some pics of her in the carpark but the server is rather slow at the moment :(

I'm just waiting for Frog's generous donation to arrive in the mail to give that a go and see if there's any change. Mail up here is pretty slow and I'm not sure if it will end up at the Genny or in Bright... Fun Fun. Then I'll have to dig into my subi and hope the door is not frozen shut, then swap out the relay.

Can't wait!

Cheers

Thanks mate - Hopefully it made it up here! I've heard that the snow clearers have given up clearing the road from Bright due to the conditions of "whales" building up over the road between the trucks clearing and returning again. Whales are snow drifts for those not in the know.

Dunno when I'll actually get to Ruby Scoo to try out this relay :( I'll have to dig her out first!

Cheers

Dunno if the mail made it today - the Harrietville road was closed from 7-8pm Wednesday night till about 10am this morning. I haven't been to the genny yet, hopefully their post office, being a part of the supermarket, is open on saturdays... Finger's crossed.

Cheers

I know this thread is old, but does anyone know if the ignition relay solved the problem? I have almost identical problem.
Thanks

Due to the nature of the environment I was working in I didn't take the time to swap out individual items - so I did them all at once.

I think the temp sensor and the knock sensors made a huge difference to the engine's performance and operation, I'm not 100% sure I needed the relay but it's good to know it's in good condition.

Let us know how you go with the conversion above if you have good results.
